Matt Flood
Matt Flood is a director in the Sustainable Ocean Plan Taskforce in the Department of Climate Change, Energy the Environment and Water.
He has worked in the Australian Government as a fisheries scientist, in fisheries policy, as a political advisor, and as a regulator.
In his current role he and his team are contributing to the development of Australia’s first Sustainable Ocean Plan, a commitment made by our Prime Minister under the High Level Panel for a Sustainable Ocean Economy. His team has been responsible for engagement on the plan’s development with government, industry, scientists, and environmental non-government organisations.
