Franzis Althaus
Franzis is a research scientist working on deep-sea benthic ecology, biodiversity and conservation. Over her last 20 years at CSIRO Franzis has worked in various areas of marine research, but her current main interests are in annotation and interpretation of photographic and video data of benthic habitats and communities, with a special focus on data management and analysis.
