Eloise EB Bennett

I am a PhD researcher currently working on the ecophysiology of dissolved organic carbon (DOC) release by Sargassum seaweeds, with a focus on salinity effects. My research aims to enhance our understanding of the role that seaweed DOC plays in ocean carbon cycling and chemical ecology in coastal marine habitats. My broader research interests include global change biology, phycology and conservation. I am a passionate science communicator and enjoy sharing the wonders of algae.
