Daragh K Brown
Kia ora, I’m a master’s student at the University of Otago in the Marine Megafauna Research Group. My project is investigating the association of seabirds and zooplankton across the Southland Front in Otago. Aside from my thesis topic I am also interested in invasive species management, having completed my honours thesis at University College Cork on “habitat preference of invasive brown rats on a seabird island”. I am also highly interested in science communication and outreach and keen to enhance scientific awareness to the growing threats to the marine environment.
