With my background in Computer Science, I was introduced to the practical and implementable applications of Remote Sensing and Geographical Information Systems (GIS) under the expert supervision of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). I pursued my PhD research on rapid flood inundation mapping and modelling approaches across large-scale data-scarce regions. At CSIRO, I am working on Land-to-Ocean outflows modelling for coastal water quality assessments using remote sensing.
