Carlie Devine
Carlie Devine is a researcher in the Biodiversity, Imagery, Annotation and Automation (BIAA) team based in Hobart, CSIRO, with interests in fisheries, Marine Protected Areas (MPAs), marine wildlife, endangered species, and remote image sensor systems. Presently, her primary focus lies in the long-term monitoring of critically endangered species such as the Spotted Handfish and the near-threatened Shy Albatross. Additionally, she is engaged in work within fisheries, using deep camera system technologies and machine learning techniques to advance understanding and management practices.
