Gillian S.L. Rowan

With a background in ecology, botany, and remote sensing, I am currently working towards a PhD at the University of Queensland. My project will explore how remote sensing can be used to map kelp biomass across various spatial scales. Before beginning my PhD studies in January 2023, I worked as an Operations Technician at GHGSat where I contributed to detecting methane emissions and sources in satellite and airborne imagery.
