Chelsey M Beese
I am a marine ecologist with expertise in ecosystem modelling, tropical systems, fisheries, habitat interactions, and predator/prey relationships. I also have a passion for supporting conservation and management through outreach and the development of tools and resources that empower decision makers. I recently completed my PhD (July 2024) under the supervision of Alice Rogers at Te Herenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington. My thesis was titled "Modelling Coral Reef Futures: Exploring the role of habitat complexity in sustaining ecosystem services." I am currently seeking collaborators and/or post doc opportunities for 2025.
