Venetia has dedicated her life to the pursuit of research excellence. Combining a background in research – Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Honours) from the University of Tasmania, a PhD in oenology (wine) from the University of Adelaide – and a large portion of her professional life supporting and promoting research excellence at the University of Tasmania, Venetia now supports excellence in Marine Science as Team Leader of Policy, Procedure, and Outreach at CSIRO’s Marine National Facility. Her primary focus is facilitating researcher access to RV Investigator, Australia's blue water research facility, and helping CSIRO solve Australia’s greatest challenges through innovative science and technology.
